Michael lost an incredible 15lbs of body fat, gained 3lbs of muscle and lowered his metabolic age by 6.
When I first sat down with Michael we talked about how the plan for the next 6 weeks I was slightly concerned about his daily activity levels with his job but he proved to me once he commits he doesn’t mess about.
Here is what he had to say about the 6 week transformation.
I started the 6-week transformation course in November with a view to dropping some body fat before Christmas, ideally whilst maintaining muscle. I didn’t have a specific target in mind but I’ve really enjoyed the process and I’m extremely happy with the results.
Working with Ian is incredibly easy. He explains concepts in ways that are clear and easy to understand, and is always available to answer questions and give advice. At our first meeting he set out that to meet my goals we would need to address three areas – controlling nutritional macros (balancing protein vs carbs and fat), raising my overall activity levels, plus a regular weekly workout programme involving strength and cardio training. The purpose of each of these areas was explained clearly and Ian showed me the best ways of tracking each of them, which gave me the confidence to know that I would see results if I stuck to the plan. In particular I was surprised at how easy it was to keep to the nutritional part of the programme, as this has always been an issue for me in the past.
Ian has been very flexible in terms of accommodating changes to the schedule, particularly given my work commitments and the wider challenges of Covid. The workout sessions in the gym are challenging but not overwhelming, and I have always felt supported. Ian structures each session differently which keeps things fresh, and is always on hand to correct elements of technique and form when needed.
I have really enjoyed this programme and would not hesitate to recommend Ian to anyone seeking to do something similar. I’m looking forward to working with him again in the future.
